The Tenderness cake really has a delicate taste, it literally melts in your mouth. This dessert is quite filling, so you'll hardly need more than two slices with your tea to satisfy your sweet tooth. The recipe is incredibly simple, easy, and quick.

The delicacy of this dessert comes from the condensed milk flavor generously soaked into the layers. Even in the photo, this dessert looks incredibly delicate. The cake has a traditional, and therefore unbeatable, flavor; its delicacy is sure to delight your guests.

For chocolate lovers, we'd like to point out that this cake can easily be given a chocolatey flavor by slightly tweaking the recipe. To do this, add a few tablespoons of cocoa powder to the cake batter, which will transform the cake into a chocolaty delight. It will also be delicious. And the cake will look more chocolatey, not light-colored like in the photo.

Classic "Tenderness"

The baking recipe consists of the following ingredients: one can of condensed milk, 500 g of flour, one egg, 1 teaspoon of soda.

For the cream, we'll need: 2 eggs, 500 ml of milk, one cup of sugar, two tablespoons of flour, vanilla, and 200 g of butter. We'll garnish the dessert with 100 g of dark chocolate and almonds.

First, let's make the cream. Take a deep saucepan or sauté pan and crack the eggs into it, then add the sugar and milk. Beat the ingredients with a mixer. Then add the flour and vanilla. Start mixing again.

Place the saucepan over low heat and simmer, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens. You'll know the cream has thickened sufficiently when air bubbles begin to appear on the surface. This means it's time to remove the cream from the heat and allow it to cool.

While the cream is cooling, prepare the dough. Pour the condensed milk into a deep bowl, then crack an egg into it. Mix these two ingredients with a spoon. Then add a little more flour and mix again with a spoon. Then add the remaining flour and knead the dough by hand. This recipe doesn't require overly stiff dough. On the contrary, for the cake to live up to its name, the dough should be soft and not sticky.

The photo shows that the cake, called "Tenderness," consists of many layers, at least six or seven. So now we form the resulting dough into a sausage shape and cut it into the desired number of pieces. These will be the future layers.

So, take one piece of dough, roll it out with a rolling pin, and cut it into a circle. You can place a plate on the dough and trace its outline. This will give you perfectly round cakes, like in the photo.

This recipe is unique in that the cake layers are cooked in a frying pan. Bake the cake layers in a hot, dry frying pan on both sides until golden brown on both sides.

Form the remaining dough into layers; you'll end up with about ten, as per the recipe. In the photo, the cake looks very layered.

Assembling the cake

Cake Tenderness 3

Before assembling the dessert, while the layers are cooling, let's return briefly to the cream. Add the melted butter to the cooled cream and beat everything together again with a mixer. Now the cream recipe is perfectly followed.

Now let's assemble the cake. Place the first layer on a beautiful plate, spread it generously with frosting, and then do the same for the remaining layers, including the top one.

Grate dark chocolate and top the dessert with almonds. Now it will look beautiful, like the photo. Refrigerate the dessert, preferably overnight. However, if you're not planning to bake the cake in advance, but today, a few hours in the refrigerator will suffice.
