Yogurt cake with oranges

Any yogurt cake recipe can be customized to your liking. For example, replace exotic kiwis, pineapples, and bananas with seasonal fruits and berries (strawberries, peaches, apricots, etc.), as in the photo. The dessert won't lose its flavor, and you'll save on filling.

The cream recipe can also be varied. You can use store-bought yogurt or make your own using special starters. You can add cream, cottage cheese, or even cream cheese to the soufflé. For decoration, use berries, fruits, nuts, or whipped egg whites, which can be used to create any designs or messages.

The cake base can also be varied: cookies, homemade, or store-bought layers. If you don't have either, make some yogurt jelly, pour it into a mold, and top it with fruit. Once you remove the parchment, you can serve it like a regular cake.

Whatever recipe you choose, this yogurt treat will not only be delicious but also healthy. If you're unsure about the quality of store-bought yogurt, make your own. Purchase a special starter culture from a store or pharmacy, dissolve it in milk, and leave it in a warm place. After a few hours, your natural yogurt will be ready.

In the summer heat, this chilled dessert is irreplaceable. You can also serve it with ice cream.
