Many housewives, having once used a multicooker, ditch the oven forever. And this is hardly surprising: baked goods created in this miracle appliance are characterized by their amazing fluffiness, tenderness, and exquisite flavor. This is exactly how orange pie always turns out in a slow cooker.

Orange Story

The orange is an artificially bred fruit. It is believed to be a hybrid of two citrus fruits—the mandarin and the pomelo. Whether this is true is impossible to determine due to the passage of time: oranges were cultivated in China as early as a couple of millennia BC.

And it must be said, the orange's creators have not worked in vain: this remarkable fruit is literally saturated with vitamins, microelements, and other beneficial substances. These sunny fruits are exceptionally beneficial for all vital systems of the body: the digestive, cardiovascular, endocrine, and nervous systems.

Not to mention that oranges are simply amazingly delicious. However, if you're tired of fresh fruit, you can make a wonderful baked good: orange pie. Moreover, cooking in a slow cooker preserves as many nutrients as possible.

Simple Orange Pie

How to make an easy orange pie?

The easiest pie to make requires a minimum of ingredients:

  • a couple of oranges;
  • 2 multi-cups of flour;
  • 4 eggs;
  • half a glass of vegetable oil;
  • 1 multi-cup of sugar;
  • a packet of baking powder;
  • a pinch of salt.

To prepare the pie:

  1. Grate the zest of one orange. Puree the pulp in a blender.
  2. Mix flour with baking powder and salt. Add orange pulp and vegetable oil.
  3. Beat the eggs and sugar thoroughly. Finally, combine them with the dough.
  4. Grease a multi-cooker pan and fill it with the orange batter. Bake the pie on the standard "Bake" setting for approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes. Once the orange dessert has cooled, enjoy.

Orange and cottage cheese pie

Orange Slice Pie - Multicooker Recipe.

This orange pie made in a slow cooker with cottage cheese dough will delight even the most discerning palates. This juicy and tender orange pastry will turn any tea party into a celebration.

And what's especially nice is that this miracle is really easy to prepare. Just stock up on:

  • 500 grams of cottage cheese (ideally, it’s homemade cottage cheese, cooked in the same multicooker);
  • a couple of oranges (although perhaps one will be enough);
  • 50 grams of sugar and the same amount of flour;
  • 5 eggs;
  • oil for greasing the pan;
  • a pinch of salt.

Now it's time to start cooking:

  1. Peel the oranges and cut them into wedges. Set aside for now.
  2. Separate the eggs into their components. Season the whites with salt and beat until stiff. Beat the yolks with sugar.
  3. Using a mixer, beat the cottage cheese, then add the flour and egg yolks. Finally, fold in the egg whites. At this point, you'll need to put the mixer aside and use the traditional method: gently stir with a spoon. Otherwise, the dough will lose its airiness.
  4. Grease a baking pan with butter and spread half of the cottage cheese mixture into it. Arrange orange slices on top, finishing with the remaining mixture.
  5. Turn on the traditional "Bake" mode and set the time to 50 minutes. Remember that any curd-based baked goods must cool completely—this orange-curd pie is no exception.

You'll only have to wait a little while. But then you can enjoy the delicate flavor of this orange dessert.
