Banana charlotte and American pie
Content
Bananas are perhaps one of the most beloved delicacies. These elongated, juicy, and aromatic fruits are eagerly devoured by people of all ages. And bananas also make a wonderful base for baked goods. If you cook banana pie in a slow cooker, your family will be grateful to you for your thoughtful cooking.
Bananas, pies, and multicookers
Of course, bananas are far from a staple food. They're more of a delicacy. But they're quite affordable. And modern appliances make it easy to create true confectionery masterpieces in your own kitchen.
Whatever baking recipe a housewife plans to implement, Redmond, Panasonic, or Polaris multicookers will always come to the rescue.
A win-win combination
You can make banana pie in a slow cooker, following the American version. Bananas and walnuts are a perfect combination, making this banana dessert delicious and filling.
The following products will be needed:
- 1 ½ cups flour;
- ½ packet of baking powder;
- 150 g butter;
- ½ cup yogurt (or sour cream);
- sugar - 1 cup;
- 3 eggs;
- a pinch of salt;
- 2 tsp vanilla extract;
- walnuts – ½ cup;
- and, of course, bananas – 3 pieces.
The recipe is simple:
- Peel the bananas and mash them with a fork. Don't puree them; it's nice to have the tender pieces melt on your tongue.
- Separately beat the sugar and eggs. While continuing to beat, add the softened butter, then the yogurt. Stop the mixer, place the mashed bananas in a bowl, and pour in the vanilla extract. Mix by hand.
- Place flour, salt, and baking powder in a large bowl. Mix the dry and wet mixtures. Add the nuts last.
- Sprinkle an oiled baking dish with semolina or flour and place the banana mix in it.
- Next, place the container in a Redmond multicooker (or any other multicooker) and set it to bake for 60 minutes. After the baking time is complete, insert a toothpick into the cake; if it comes out clean, you can continue baking. Turn the cake over and bake as before for another 15 minutes.
- Open the lid (the banana aroma is simply intoxicating!), let the dessert sit for 15 minutes, then transfer the pie to a plate. Now comes the fun part: place the dessert in the freezer for about 45 minutes. According to the recipe, this will impart extra moisture, making the pie incredibly moist.
It's best to keep the completely cooled banana loaf in the refrigerator until your family arrives. Just before ceremoniously serving it on the table, sprinkle it with powdered sugar for added beauty.
