Homemade condensed milk in a slow cooker
- Baby food "Malutka" - 1 multi-cup (180g)
- Sugar – 0.5 liters;
- Milk – 0.5 liters;
Method of preparation:
- Mix sugar and baby food in a multi-bowl;
- Pour in milk while stirring;
- Set the “simmer” mode for 2-3 hours;
- Once it boils, stir and continue cooking with the lid closed;
- The prepared mixture will be liquid; to thicken it, turn on the "bake" mode for 20 minutes. Cook with the lid closed;
If you don't have baby food, you can vary the recipes and use powdered milk. You can add as much of the mixture as you like to taste. It's best to use homemade boiled milk. The condensed milk won't be the same color as store-bought; it will be beige-brown, which is normal. Desserts with homemade condensed milk will be the highlight of any holiday. These recipes allow for improvisation.
Jams, preserves, and syrups are prepared using the same principle.
Fruit and sugar – an eternal classic!

Plum jam
- Water – 350 ml.
- Sugar – 400g.
- Plum – 400g.
- Ground ginger – 1 tsp.
Method of preparation:
- Remove the pits from the plums and place in a bowl;
- Add water;
- Turn on the “multicooker” mode (may be called “cook”);
- Temperature 160 degrees;
- Cook for 15 minutes;
- Then add sugar and ground ginger; cook for another 30 minutes;
- Let cool; rub the plums through a sieve and return them to the bowl;
- Set the temperature to 120 degrees and cook for another 35 minutes;
- Bring to a boil and turn off heat;
Plum desserts can be varied with various toppings. If you're planning to eat the jam as part of a meal, consider adding grated dark chocolate; however, if you're preserving it, skip the addition.
Fruit desserts don't end with jam—that's just where it all began. In a slow cooker, you can bake fruit, caramelize it, make baby fruit mixes, compotes, kissels, and more. The recipes are amazingly varied.
Blueberry jelly
- Water – 800g.
- Blueberries – 400g.
- Sugar – 100g.
- Starch – 4 tsp.
Method of preparation:
- Pour blueberries into a bowl;
- Add 600g of water;
- Set the “multicooker” function to 160 degrees;
- Bring to a boil;
- Remove and rub through a sieve;
- Pour into a multi-cup and add sugar;
- Dissolve starch in a glass of boiled water;
- Slowly pour into blueberry mixture;
- Cook for 5 minutes at 110 degrees;
The recipes call for stirring the jelly at all stages of cooking; at the end, you can add any spice you like, which will give the desserts a festive look; pour into glasses and enjoy.
That's all great, but what about healthy? There are recipes that preserve the beneficial properties of desserts in a slow cooker. Pumpkin is a unique vegetable-berry. Everyone knows pumpkin is low in calories and nutritious, and it's known to contain many vitamins and beneficial elements. It actually contains more carotene than carrots, but not everyone knows that pumpkin contains a whole host of healthy sugars. In some cases, you can omit the sugar from the recipes.
Pumpkin with nuts
- Pumpkins – 0.5 kg.
- Honey – 40 g.
- Butter – 30 g.
- Nuts – 100 g.
- Salt - a pinch to taste.
Method of preparation:
- Peel the pumpkin and cut into cubes;
- Select the "Bake" mode at 180 degrees;
- Place pumpkin in multi-bowl;
- Bake for 20 minutes;
- Add butter and honey;
- Bake for another 15 minutes;
Despite the butter, these recipes are considered dietary. Pumpkin desserts, thanks to the butter, are gentle on the stomach and the nutrients are better absorbed. Nutritionists strongly recommend eating pumpkin before winter. Pumpkin desserts are easy to make in a slow cooker.
Bakery
This is the multi-tasking aspect of multicooker cooking. The recipes are amazingly versatile, and the advantages are even greater. What's the biggest concern when baking? Even baking and a non-scorched crust? A multicooker provides all of this! Cookies are the easiest; you just have to keep taking them out. If you want to delight your loved ones with oriental sweets, a multicooker is a surefire way to go.
Eastern cookies
- Flour – 350 g.
- Eggs – 2 pcs.
- Margarine – 150 g.
- Sesame – 50 g.
- Honey – 3 tbsp.
- Dark chocolate – 100 g.
Method of preparation:
- Pour honey into the melted margarine and beat in the eggs;
- Mix well;
- Add flour and knead;
- Place a piece of baking paper on the bottom of the multicooker bowl;
- Roll the dough into balls and place them on parchment paper;
- Set the "Bake/Soup" mode
- Bake for 15 minutes on each side;
- Lightly fry the sesame seeds;
- Melt the chocolate in a water bath;
- Dip each cookie in chocolate and then in sesame seeds;
Instead of sesame seeds, you can use cocoa, coconut flakes, ground nuts or cornflakes.
Pie and cake recipes
The earliest known pie is considered to be the wedding cake. In ancient Rome, a flatbread made with wine was broken over the bride's head. This symbolized prosperity and good fortune. But preparing a flatbread or pie began with grinding the wheat; now, once all the ingredients are ready, all that remains is to bake.
Mandarin pie
- Tangerines – 3 pcs.
- Flour – 1 tbsp.
- Sugar – 1 tbsp.
- Sugar - vanilla powder as much as you like.
- Eggs – 2 pcs.
- Butter – 15 g.
Method of preparation:
- Beat eggs with sugar;
- Add flour and stir until smooth;
- Add mandarin slices to the dough;
- Grease the bowl with oil;
- Pour the mixture in and cook in a multicooker;
- Turn on the “Bake” mode and cook for 45-50 minutes.
- Let it cool for 5 minutes and remove from the mold;
- Turn over and sprinkle with powder;
