We are preparing cottage cheese cakes for our loved ones
Content
You can make a variety of delicious treats from cottage cheese: casseroles, syrniki, vatrushki, sochni. Or you can go even further: cook a whole cottage cheese cake in a slow cooker.
Undeniable benefits
The love for cottage cheese is no surprise: it's not only a very healthy but also an exceptionally tasty fermented milk product. Everyone knows that cottage cheese is a powerful source of calcium. Besides calcium, cottage cheese also contains many other essential micronutrients: magnesium, iron, phosphorus, and so on. It also contains vitamins, amino acids, and more.
The benefits of cottage cheese are so obvious that they don't require a long explanation. It's better to talk about how you can add variety to your favorite cottage cheese baked goods.
Cottage cheese cheesecake
Cakes are the pinnacle of confectionery art, exquisite and festive creations. Cottage cheese adds lightness and tenderness to any baked good, especially when baked in a slow cooker. This cottage cheese cheesecake is the perfect example.
By the way, you don't need to buy cottage cheese for this delicate treat. You can make it in the same multicooker that you'll use to make the cake.
To prepare this popular European dessert you will need:
- 500 g cottage cheese;
- 4 eggs;
- 2 tablespoons of starch;
- 1 cup of sugar;
- 1 cup sour cream (or heavy cream);
- 80 g butter;
- 120 g crumbly biscuits;
- a packet of vanilla sugar.
All ingredients (this is important!) should be at room temperature. Let's get creative:
- Crush the cookies and mix the resulting crumbs with soft butter.
- Grease a bowl with butter and line it with parchment paper. Pour in the resulting "dough" and press it into the cheesecake base, edging it.
- Rub the cottage cheese into a bowl (optional, but desirable), add sugar and start whisking.
- Add eggs one at a time, continuing the beating process.
- Now it's the turn of sour cream (cream).
- Lastly, add starch and beat for a couple more minutes.
- Carefully pour the resulting mixture into a bowl and place it in the multicooker.
- Select the “Baking” program and set the timer for 80 minutes.
- To check if the cake is ready, the edges should be set, but the center should still be jiggly. Let it rest for another 10 minutes, covered.
- Now comes the hardest part: waiting for the cheesecake to "ripen." First, it must cool completely, then chill in the refrigerator for at least another 4 hours. Only then can this amazingly tender treat be removed from the bowl and served.
Believe me, you have never tasted anything more delicious!
Royal cheesecake
This dessert earned its name due to the exceptional tenderness of its consistency.
To prepare the dough you will need:
- 2 cups flour;
- 150 g margarine or butter;
- ½ cup sugar;
- ¼ teaspoon of soda, quenched with lemon juice.
For the filling:
- 300 g cottage cheese;
- 1 cup of sugar;
- 3 eggs;
- raisins – to taste;
- vanillin.
Let's begin the process of preparing a masterpiece:
- Grate the margarine on a coarse grater. Add sugar, flour, and baking soda. Rub everything together with your hands into fine crumbs.
- Mix the cottage cheese with sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Add the washed raisins.
- Let's begin forming the cake: pour 1/3 of the crumb mixture into a greased bowl, then add 1/2 of the filling. Next, add another third of the dough and the remaining filling. The final layer is the dough.
- Bake the dessert for 40 minutes in the "Bake" mode. Remove the cake from the bowl only after it has completely cooled.
