But what should you do if your body craves ice cream? Can pregnant women eat ice cream in this case?

Ingredients:

  • Bananas – 3 pcs. (ripe, but not overripe).
  • Cream – 200 ml (10-20% fat).
  • Milk – 300-400 ml.
  • Sugar (optional) – 50-100 g.

Recipe:

  1. Peel the bananas and blend them in a blender until pureed.
  2. Add cream and milk and stir.
  3. Pour the milk-banana mixture into a saucepan and add sugar. Mix well again.
  4. Turn on low heat and, stirring constantly, heat the mixture until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  5. Then remove the saucepan from the heat and let the mixture cool.
  6. When the mixture has cooled, pour it into molds or a large ice cream mold and place it in the freezer.

A few hours – and the ice cream is ready! Bananas are often quite sweet already, so you can add less sugar or leave it out altogether. If you're omitting the sugar, you can simply blend the mixture until smooth and then freeze.

When asked if nursing mothers can have ice cream, the answer is a resounding yes, but only in moderation, and be careful to monitor your baby's response to ice cream. A nursing mother with a lactose intolerance can make ice cream using the following recipe:

Ingredients:

  • Bananas – 2 pcs. (ripe, but not overripe).
  • Almonds – 80 g (raw).
  • Water – 40 ml (warm boiled).

Recipe:

  1. If your almonds are unpeeled, pour boiling water over them for 7-10 minutes and let them sit.
  2. After this, drain the water and peel the skins with your fingers. Alternatively, cover the kernels with a towel and rub them vigorously between the layers of the towel.
  3. Once all the almonds are peeled, place them in a blender along with water. Blend the almonds until the almonds no longer make a sound when hitting the inside of the blender.
  4. Open the blender and add the peeled and pre-cut bananas. Close the lid and blend thoroughly again.
  5. We distribute the resulting mass into molds and put it in the freezer until it hardens completely.

This ice cream is completely free of all dairy products. While nuts can also trigger allergic reactions, almonds are not considered a highly allergenic nut. In fact, they help combat fatigue and nervous exhaustion. This ice cream is also safe to eat during pregnancy, as it's a great alternative to store-bought ice cream.

Sherbet is a great cold treat for expectant mothers. It's essentially your favorite fruits or berries, peeled, blended, and frozen. Sherbet is best made from soft berries, such as strawberries or raspberries. However, remember that any sweet, even a natural one, should be consumed in moderation. It's best to make several types of sherbet and enjoy the variety without worrying about overindulging in any one type.
