A parfait dessert is a delicious and sweet treat that will not only satisfy your stomach, but also lift your spirits and be beneficial for your overall health. Often, a high-quality and truly delicious dessert can only be enjoyed in restaurants or fashionable cafes. This is also true for our dish; take a look at the photo.

Naturally, the price for such a "bowl of pleasure" will be, to put it mildly, hefty, and if you have a sweet tooth, eating it every time you go out to restaurants isn't an option. That's why you absolutely must master the recipe for your favorite parfait, or better yet, not just one, but several. This dessert can be prepared in a variety of ways. Let's start with two of the most common: fruit parfait and chocolate parfait. And if parfait isn't your favorite yet, take a look at this photo and I'm sure you'll want to try it right away.

Fruit parfait

Cherry parfait

This dessert is wonderful because its recipe allows for the use of any fruit, based on your preferences, as each fruit in this delicacy is delicious in its own way. To see this, just look at the photos: they are a vibrant array of colors and shades of various fruits. The most common fruits used for this delicacy are bananas, apples, strawberries, and peaches. Our recipe will be based on fruits that are reasonably priced and easily found at the market or store. Here's what you'll need:

  • Peaches – 5 pieces;
  • Strawberries – 300 g;
  • Cream 33% fat – 200 g;
  • Natural yogurt – 500 g;
  • Powdered sugar – 150 g;
  • A camera (to take photos of your beauty).

Everything's ready to make the parfait! First, let's prepare our fruit. We naturally choose ripe, fresh peaches and strawberries, as we want our dessert to be delicious. We'll wash them thoroughly. Then, peel the peaches, cut them in half, and remove the pits. Remove the stems from the strawberries, if any. Next, in a blender, we'll separately puree first the peaches, then the strawberries. Add powdered sugar to the cream (which, according to the recipe, must be 33% fat) and beat with a mixer until it's creamy, reminiscent of mousse.

Next, we divide the whipped cream into two parts. We do the same with the yogurt. Add half the cream and yogurt to the peach puree, and the other half to the strawberry puree. Stir, but not too much, so that the mixture looks streaky. Pour our fruit parfait into clear bowls, alternating layers, and freeze for about 5-6 hours. Once the time is up, take it out, don't forget to take a photo, and then eat and enjoy.

Chocolate Delight

Three-layer parfait

Now let's master another recipe for this delicious treat – with chocolate. For chocolate lovers, this combination of their favorite sweet with cream, even chilled, will be a godsend on a hot day and will cool you down nicely. To prepare, you'll need:

  • Cream 33% fat – 200 g;
  • White chocolate – 100 g;
  • Dark chocolate – 100 g;
  • Chicken eggs – 4 pieces;
  • Liqueur (for example, Baileys) – 2 tablespoons.

We start with the chocolate. We melt it, of course, in separate bowls, then let it cool slightly. Meanwhile, separate the yolks from the whites. Place two yolks and a tablespoon of alcohol in each bowl with the chocolate. Mix everything very well to avoid any lumps.

Take half the cream and beat it with a mixer until stiff peaks form. Divide the mixture equally and place it in the bowls with the chocolate. Stir gently, being careful not to disturb the fluffy cream. The consistency, as stated in the recipe, should be smooth.

Next, beat the egg whites, also with a mixer, until stiff. Divide into two portions and add them to the bowls. Mix again thoroughly but gently. Take clear 200-milliliter glasses or bowls and fill them with layers of chocolate, alternating dark and light. The dark chocolate should be on top. Refrigerate the dessert for three hours. Once you've taken out your delicious treat, whip the remaining cream again. Then place it in a pastry bag and decorate each bowl.

Now you know how to make fruit and chocolate parfaits that look just like those in those beautiful glossy photos. As you can see, the parfait recipe is quite simple and effortless, making it easy for anyone to make.
