Lenten Ice Cream: A Recipe with Step-by-Step Photos
Vegetarian ice cream is made with vegetable cream with a fat content of 25-35%. I recommend using ready-made whipping cream. It already contains stabilizers, sugar, and flavorful vanilla. Chill the cream in the refrigerator for 24 hours before using.
You will need (for 3-4 servings)
- Vegetable confectionery cream (26%) – 400 ml.
- Powdered sugar - 1.5 - 2 tablespoons.
Preparing dessert
Place powdered sugar in a mixing glass.
Add cold cream.
Beat the mixture with a blender using the whisk attachment for 5 minutes. The mixture will increase in size by 2.5 to 3 times. Take this into account when choosing a glass.
Pour the finished product into a plastic container and place in the freezer for 12 hours.
The mixture does not need to be stirred while cooling. The finished ice cream is indistinguishable in appearance from commercial ice cream.
Place the scoops of delicious dessert into a bowl.
Garnish with cocoa and sprinkles and serve.
